Our Mission

The Capital District Referee Association is a group dedicated to the development of soccer referee in the great Capital District of New York State. We are associated with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) through the Eastern New York Soccer Association, Inc. We are committed to providing the highest quality refereeing through ongoing training and assessments of referees. All referees are expected to provide professional quality ethical refereeing to ensure the safety of the players and the enjoyment players, coaches, fans and families.

Under the News Section – CD-Ref members approved new by-laws and incorporation for not for profit at the February 25, 2014 meeting. Indivduals interested in the positions of Secretary or Second Vice President should send an email to secretary@cdref.org

 

New Referee Course Announced

USSF Grade 8 Entry Level Referee course. This course is an 18 hour course of which some of the hours are done online by the students, you required to attend all hours to qualify and complete the on-line course work by the first class.

This course is an 18 hour course of with some of the hours are done online by the students, you required to attend all hours to qualify. The on-line course work must be completed prior to the first class. You must be fifteen years by April 1, 2014 to take the course.

RISK MANAGEMENT is required every two years – if you are 18 and over in 2014 you are required to have a risk assessment. go to http://www.sportssignup.com/enyysaref.start  The fee is part of your registration if you are asked for a fee you are on the wrong page.
